Victim of Montgomery arson offers reward for arrest, conviction

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - More than a month has passed since someone set a home on Montgomery’s Stella Street on fire. Now, the victim is looking to the public for help solving the case, and they’re offering a reward for information.

The first was started shortly before 6 a.m. on Dec. 4. Investigators with the Montgomery Fire Department later determined that there was enough evidence to find the blaze was intentionally set.

The homeowner told authorities they saw a person fleeing from the area at the time the first started. But there’s been no arrest.

Now, the homeowner is offering a reward of $1000 for anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved. Call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP with tips in this case.

Meanwhile, the Montgomery Fire Department’s investigation is ongoing.
