MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The victim of a fatal Friday night shooting in south Montgomery has been identified by police.

Police say Gregory Cole, 47, of Montgomery, was the man shot and killed in the Delray Road shooting.

According to Montgomery Police Department Spokesperson Capt. Regina Duckett, officers responded to a subject shot in the 4500 block of Delray Road around 5:15 p.m.

Duckett said officers arrived on the scene and found Cole who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
