First Alert: Warmer with scattered rain for the rest of the workweek

Highs approach 80 by Friday

First Alert: Scattered Showers Thursday

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - It was a very rainy and stormy Wednesday for parts of Alabama. Now, rain stays in our forecast, but it won’t be as widespread as we saw Wednesday.

Into early Thursday, showers and fog will cover the region, so give yourself some time to take it easy on the roads when heading to work or school.

Rain chances aren’t as high to finish off the week, with showers more scattered in nature Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will continue to warm; highs will approach 80 degrees Friday.

By Saturday, highs will soar into the low 80s. Showers and storms will be in the area, and a few storms could be on the stronger side later in the day. We’ll keep an eye on it.
