MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Even an abundant amount of sunshine couldn’t warm us up this afternoon... temperatures struggled to reach either side of 50°, but with a hefty wind coming out of the north and west, it felt much cooler.
The breeze won’t be as active tonight, so we’ll have all the ingredients for effective cooling; a dry, still atmosphere with little to no cloud cover means temps will drop down down into the 20s for the majority of the area.
Warmer air starts to kick in each and ever afternoon as we head through the rest of the workweek. Highs Wednesday will likely be into the 50s, and then by Thursday and Friday we return to more seasonable 60s.
We have our eyes on another powerful storm system into the weekend. There are some signs that another round of stronger storms could be possible with this one, so stay tuned.
