First Alert: What a week!

Cool, calm, clear and dry weather continues

Amanda's Tuesday afternoon forecast update

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The nights are a bit cool, and most of our vehicles are coated in a not-so-gorgeous yellow tint from pollen. Other than those two things, this is about as nice a week as you could ever ask for in Alabama. Sunshine dominates each day, with chilly mornings giving way to comfortable afternoons.

Tomorrow morning will be on the cool side, with lows in the 37-44 degree range. Chilly, sure, but we should stay *just* warm enough to avoid frost.

Sunshine looks to stick around tomorrow, so we won’t stay cold for long. Highs will climb into the mid and upper 60s by Wednesday afternoon.

The Vernal Equinox will happen at 4:58pm Wednesday afternoon, and at that point the center of the Sun is directly over the Equator.

A moisture-starved system Thursday could spill a little more cloud cover into the area briefly, but that appears to be the extent of the weather headlines heading into the weekend.

Temperatures climb to around 70° Friday and into the 70s this weekend.

Rain chances return to the forecast Sunday and into the early part of next week.
