UPDATE: As of Monday morning, flooding has receded and the road has reopened, per the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

ORIGINAL REPORT MONTGOMERY COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says Dozier Road at the Emerald Mountain Toll Bridge is closed completely.

According to MCSO, the reason is due to flooding, and extends to the Elmore County side of the road as well.
