Opelika theft, fraud at multiple businesses prompts police investigation

OPELIKA, Ala. (WTVM) - Police in Opelika are investigating a theft and fraud incident that reportedly occurred at three businesses on May 5.

Two females seen in surveillance photos reportedly purchased merchandise from the Game Stop on the 3000 block of Pepperell Pkwy. with a stolen credit card.

One female is wearing a dark blue shirt with multiple gold chains and is approximately 5′4″ and 140 pounds. She has a low haircut and multiple tattoos on her arms.

The second female is wearing a white and blue tank top with white pajama pants. She is approximately 5′7″ and 175 pounds and has multiple tattoos on her right arm, chest and neck.

The two females also made transactions at Walmart and Advance Auto Parts on Pepperell Pkwy. with the stolen credit card.

They were last seen getting into a small blue SUV in the Walmart parking lot.
