TUSKEGEE, Ala. (WSFA) - The men’s basketball team at Tuskegee University will have a new Xs and Os caller next year. Jerry Dunn is out as head coach the athletics department announced Tuesday.
The school opted not to renew the contract of Dunn, who marked up a 52-87 record in five seasons.
“We thank Coach Dunn for his leadership of Tuskegee’s men’s basketball team and wish him well in his future endeavors,” said Tuskegee Director of Athletics Willie Slater.
The Golden Tigers finished with a 13-15 record overall and 8-10 record in conference play this past season.
A national search for Dunn’s replacement will begin immediately.
