MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Park Crossing High School has nailed down its new head football coach. CJ Harris is now the head man in charge of the Thunderbirds.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for blessing me with another opportunity to coach the game I love. I am sincerely grateful to MPS and Mrs. Fountain for having faith in my ability to lead the Park Crossing Football Program," said Harris. "Park Crossing High School has an incredible support system within the administration, coaches, players, staff, students, fans, and community. The football program is in an awesome position to grow and prosper. With hard work and dedication, I hope to grow this team day-by-day and reinforce a culture of success.“
Harris was previously on staff as the Thunderbirds quarterbacks coach. He’s also the former head coach at Sidney Lanier High School and served as the offensive coordinator at Carver-Montgomery.
Park Crossing went 6-5 last season, losing in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs to Bessemer City.
