MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Lane closures will be in place for a portion of Interstate 65 beginning Monday.
According to Brantley Kirk with the Alabama Department of Transportation, the closures will be in place from Catoma Creek to north of Fairview Ave. (exit 170). The closures are part of an ongoing ALDOT resurfacing project.
Lanes will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to place a high-density mineral bond on the shoulders. The daytime closures are expected to be done by the end of the week.
Motorists should use caution if traveling through the area and expect delays.
