AUTAUGA COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - A Deatsville woman charged in a DUI-related Autauga County murder case has had her bond revoked in a separate case.

According to Chief Deputy District Attorney CJ Robinson, Kelly Nicole Dingler, 38, failed to appear in court last week on theft charges in Millbrook. Dingler was later taken into custody for failure to appear.

While in custody, Dingler failed a required drug test. Robinson says Dingler attempted to dilute a first drug test but ultimately failed after showing positive for methamphetamine.

Tuesday, after her failure to appear, Judge Bill Lewis revoked her bond and demanded that she stay in custody throughout the DUI-related murder case.

The trial for the DUI, murder case was originally scheduled to begin in May but was declared a mistrial after new evidence was brought forward.

An evidentiary suppression hearing is scheduled for June in that case and her trial will be scheduled at a later date.
