Tuscaloosa, Ala. (WBRC) - It was a hot day in Tuscaloosa Saturday but the Alabama Crimson Tide was hotter.

The Tide gets going with a spark, scoring on the first play of the game with a pass to Henry Ruggs for a 75-yard touchdown run.

Tua Tagovailoa and Jerry Jeudy were a dynamic duo with 2 touchdown passes in the first half.

Ruggs raked in his second TD of the game in the second quarter and Tagovailoa scrambled out of the pocket for a 25-yard run into the endzone for a touchdown. Crimson Tide-35 New Mexico St-0

The Tide put three more points on the board to end the half 38-0 over New Mexico St.

Alabama scored in their first possession of the third quarter with a eight yard touchdown run by Najee Harris. The Alabama offense kept up the pace with a quick shuffle into the endzone by Jerry Jeudy and a 74-yard touchdown run by freshman Keilan Robinson.

The New Mexico State Aggies had 3 turnovers under the Tide defense and Alabama outgained New Mexico State 603-262 in total yards.

After a dynamic second half the Tide closes out 62-10 over New Mexico State.
