BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - An execution date has been set for the man convicted of killing three Birmingham police officers in 2004.

Nathaniel Woods shot and killed Carlos Owen, Harley Chisholm III, and Charles Bennett.

The Alabama Supreme Court scheduled Woods to be put to death March 5th.

Woods shot the three officers while they tried to serve a warrant at a home in Ensley.
