24-year-old killed, 2 others injured in Montgomery shooting
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A 24-year-old man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting at a Montgomery apartment complex Friday morning.
The Montgomery Police Department identified the man killed in the shooting as Aaron Albright of Montgomery.
Police say another man suffered life-threatening injuries. A woman was also injured. Police say her injuries aren’t life threatening.
The shooting happened around 11:15 a.m. Friday outside at the Serenity Apartments at the Park on Plaza Drive. People who work in the area said they heard a series of gunshots.
Police say the shooting stemmed from an altercation.
No one is in custody in connection with the shooting.

Police say this is the 42nd homicide in Montgomery this year, which is the same total number of homicides reported in the city in 2019.
