Minor in life-threatening condition after Montgomery shooting

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A juvenile is suffering from life-threatening injuries after a Tuesday afternoon shooting, according to the Montgomery Police Department.

Police and fire medics responded to the 2200 block of Semmes Drive shortly after 4:15 p.m. where they found the victim. That’s not far from Vaughn and Perry Hill roads.

The minor was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting were not immediately available and MPD said no other information was available.

On Tuesday, October 27, 2020, at about 4:22 p.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 2200 block of Semmes Drive in reference to a subject shot. At the scene, contact was made with a juvenile male victim who sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. There’s no additional information available for release.
