DOTHAN, Ala. (WSFA) - A woman involved in an early October fatal crash that killed one and severely injured several others has been arrested on multiple charges.
Dothan police say the woman, Ty’Kerria Ni’Chelle Duncan, was driving her vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance when she crashed.
The Oct. 1 crash on Parramore Road killed Kayla Metcalf and severely injured three juveniles in her car. The passenger in the other vehicle was also injured, according to police.
Duncan is now charged with murder, three counts of first-degree assault, and one count of third-degree assault.
She is being held at the Dale County Jail without bond.
