Monday shooting leaves 1 injured in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Montgomery police say a person is recovering after a shooting Monday morning.
According to Cpl. Ernestina McGriff, police were called to the 1600 block of Coliseum Boulevard around 7:45 a.m. on a call someone had been shot. When officers arrived in the area, they found an adult who had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment, McGriff added.
