MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A $1,000 reward is being offered for any information that could lead to a Montgomery murder suspect’s arrest, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers said.
Investigators say they believe Pierre Woods, 27, is responsible for the death of Joshua Thompson, 27, whose body was found on Nov. 5 at the river bridge at U.S. Highway 31 between Montgomery and Prattville.
Police responded to the scene around 3 p.m. that day where they found the victim’s body.
According to police, the victim was shot multiple times in a different location before his remains were dumped near the Montgomery/Autauga county line.
Police say a murder warrant has been signed against Woods.
