Alex City Schools unveils designs for Benjamin Russell High School

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Alexander City Schools is unveiling the latest designs for the new Benjamin Russell High School.

Alex City Schools released a video showing the 219,000 square-foot facility Thursday. The $48 million project will be built just before Sugar Creek Bridge.

According to the school system, the new building will be able to accommodate about 1,500 students.

The project is expected to be completed by August 2023.
