MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - After an unseasonably warm weekend, our forecast will take a sharp turn for the workweek! Wetter and cooler conditions are on the way.
Higher rain chances start very late tonight into early Monday morning. Scattered showers will remain possible throughout Monday, then more widespread rain is likely Tuesday. Expect a wet commute!
A few rumbles of thunder are possible Tuesday and Tuesday night as well. The risk of strong storms looks very low at this time.
Cooler air will arrive with all this rain. The average high temperature for this time of year is 65°, so if you’re ready for a more seasonable forecast, hopefully you’ll enjoy this week’s temperatures. Highs will be in the 60s with the exception of Tuesday - that day will be unseasonably cool!
