MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - After a quiet weekend, rain and storms return to the forecast for the workweek. Could some of these storms be strong? Let’s dive in...

First things first, we have one more dry day in store for Monday. Temperatures will be back in the 70s under mostly sunny skies!

Tuesday will only feature scattered showers. Then, more widespread rain and a few rumbles of thunder are likely Wednesday.

Thursday’s system has the ability to bring a few strong to severe storms to parts of the Deep South. For now, we’ll mention a very low risk of an isolated tornado or pocket of damaging wind. We’re watching - check back for updates!
