MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - We’ll start our Sunday with clouds and a few showers, but this weather will clear quickly as a cold front sweeps across the state. By the afternoon, the sun will be shining and temperatures will be comfortable in the middle and upper 70s.
The 80s return Monday and Tuesday. Monday will be dry and Tuesday could feature an isolated, pop-up storm or two.
Better rain chances arrive Wednesday as a cold front sinks into our area. Some storms that develop Wednesday could carry a hail threat, but the overall severe weather risk doesn’t look concerning at this time.
Cooler air will arrive behind the front, and we won’t totally ditch rain chances the rest of the workweek.
