Three suspects arrested on multiple charges including unlawful breaking and entering in Opelika

OPELIKA, Ala. (WTVM) - The Opelika Police Department and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrested three suspects on multiple charges including several unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle cases.

On May 3, police executed a search warrant in the 1200 block of Lee Rd. 40.

During the investigation, three suspects were arrested on the following charges:

  • 22-year-old Melvin James Maddox Jr., of Salem:
    • Two counts of unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle
    • Two counts of theft of property, first degree
  • 23-year-old Jacquel Deshawn Woods, of Opelika:
    • Two counts of unlawful breaking and entering a motor vehicle
    • Two counts of theft of property, first degree
  • 24-year-old Jaderrian Tyquon Prince, of Salem:
    • Receiving stolen property, first degree
    • Possession with intent to distribute narcotics
    • Possession of a controlled substance
    • Possession of a short barreled rifle
    • Possession of marijuana, first degree
