COOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - The State Fire Marshal’s Office has pretty much ruled out anything criminal in Monday’s house explosion in Coosa County.

Authorities say it appears an undetected gas leak ignited the explosion.

The vacant house exploded just inside the Coosa County line on Highway 22 West, about 5 miles from Alexander City.

No one was injured and the home was vacant.
