Tony Reese returned to the Chattahoochee Valley in August 2022 after spending a year and a half in Panama City Beach as a multimedia journalist. Reese grew up in Smiths Station and is a 2015 graduate of Smiths Station High School. He then attended Troy University where he graduated with a broadcast journalism degree - with a minor in sports information - in 2019. Reese joined the News Leader 9 team in July 2019 as a producer, where he was an intern before. In his spare time, Tony is an avid foodie, loves being a mentor to the younger generation, and spending time with his wife.
Sunday afternoon, the Phenix City Little League 9U team was crowned World Series Champions.
Campers had the opportunity to work on fundamentals and learn from several coaches from the high school and college level, including several Auburn University players, like quarterback Robby Ashford, offensive tackle and center Bradyn Joiner, and Loachapoka’s very own JC Hart who will look to cornerback for the Tigers this fall.
Seagle is a graduate of Troy State University. He has been coaching high school football since 1985 and has coached in over 400 games.
The Crimson Tide advances to NCAA Super Regional play and is now 43-19 on the season.
The five-time Masters champion is making his 25th appearance in the tournament.
