Madison Scarpino joined the WAFF 48 News Team in November of 2020. She has lived all over the country due to her father’s Navy career, but considers Florida her home.

Madison earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi in Broadcast Journalism with an emphasis in Cinema and Film Production. Throughout college, Madison worked as an Anchor, Reporter, and Entertainment Host for the school’s news station and was an Emcee for Ole Miss Athletics. She has won various Regional and National awards for her work.

Madison gained further knowledge of reporting through her internships at Young Hollywood in Los Angeles and WGNO in New Orleans. She also worked as a Production Runner for a special segment of MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

Madison’s love for reporting is rooted in her curiosity about the world, learning something new everyday, and meeting new people. She is truly passionate about her career and excited to explore the Tennessee Valley and tell the stories that matter most to the community.

Outside of work, Madison loves to cook, practice hot yoga, try out new restaurants, eat delicious food, and watch reality TV.
