Alabama Wildlife Federation hosts 9th annual fishing rodeo

A group of young anglers showed off their skills in Millbrook today at the Alabama Wildlife Federation's ninth annual fishing rodeo.

Anglers ages 15 and under participated in the rodeo this morning at Lanark in Millbrook.

Each angler was able to take home five catfish but could catch and release as many as they liked.

Fishing rodeo winner Andrew McLean won his title by catching a 20 pound catfish.

The Alabama Wildlife Federation was established by sportsmen in 1935 and is the state's oldest and largest citizens' conservation organization.
