Fitzpatrick Elementary Teacher a Class Act
MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Just walk into Ms. Theresa Arrington's classroom and you'll know right away, she's in complete control. She's been teaching for 27 years, and spent the last 15 years at Fitzpatrick Elementary school in Montgomery. "I like coming to see them," Arrington said. "I like to greet them in the morning. I love children."
Ms. Arrington teaches 4th grade at Fitzpatrick. She wants to make sure her students are ready for next year. "I hope they remember the skills I teach them."
The person who nominated her for the "Class Act" award says she's always willing to take extra time to make sure the students learn and have fun at the same time. So how does it feel to know a parent thought enough about her to nominate her for an award. "It makes me feel good. I had tears. I know I've been appreciated for years, today its shown."
Congratulations Ms. Theresa Arrington from Fitzpatrick Elementary school in Montgomery, you're a real "Class Act."
