WIC Program receives additional funding through October

The federal government has provided additional funds for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) programs to operate. The Alabama WIC Program will continue to see participants and issue benefits through the month of October. Participants will be limited to one month's issuance of food benefits.

The Alabama Department of Public Health will continue to reassess funding based upon further developments with the federal budget.
