SELMA, AL (WSFA) - Two teenagers in Selma have been arrested for Capital Murder.

Selma police officers responded to a shooting on Saturday at 9:45p.m. in the 1800 block of Franklin Street. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a female on the sidewalk incapacitated. The female suffered a gunshot wound to the face, which lead to her death.

Detectives were informed that the deceased female and two other victims had been robbed by 16-year-old John Jones and 18-year-old Larry Hunter. The victims were asked to hand over their cell phones, but instead tried to escape.

Both suspects were detained from their residence and transported to the Selma Police Department. They are both being held at the Dallas County Jail under "No Bond".
