9 lawn mowers stolen from Montgomery SEARS store

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery police and Central Alabama CrimeStoppers are looking to weed out a suspect who has a penchant for stealing lawn mowers from an area business.

The unidentified man is wanted for taking nine grass trimmers from the SEARS store at Eastdale mall during the month of July.

Surveillance video shows the suspect pulling up to the lawn section of the store, cutting the cables that secure the mowers, then loading one push mower into the backseat of his sedan on each visit.

Investigators say if you can identify the suspect or help them trim down his possible whereabouts, you could be eligible for a cut of another type of green, the cash reward kind.
