Man accused of sexually abusing child with special needs

DALE CO., AL, (WSFA) - A Dale County man was arrested on multiple charges for allegedly sexually abusing a child with special needs.

David Wayne Rodrigue, 45, of Ariton, was arrested Thursday and charged with sexual abuse first degree and sodomy first degree.

The Dale County Sheriff's Office says the victim is a 12-year-old female.

Rodrigue is being held in the Dale County Jail under a $75,000 bond.
