Sex offender found near Prattville's splash pad

PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) - Prattville police say they've arrested and charged a sex offender with failure to register after they found him near the splash pad, a popular children's play area at Pratt Park.
Police were called to the park on Friday, August 1, around 11:30 a.m. on reports of a suspicious person.
The area around the splash pad is under video surveillance and authorities say they have reviewed the video and have evidence that places Crocker there.
The area where children play and cool off is in a gated, water-themed pad near the park's pool.
The charge against Crocker is a felony.
