Mail truck, SUV collide in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department is investigating the cause of a collision between a U.S. Postal Service vehicle and a Cadillac SUV.
Details remain limited, but the mail service vehicle was on its side in a yard on Vaughn Road near Vaughn Road Park. The SUV sustained heavy front end damage in the collision.
There is no word at this time on injuries, though one person was seen being placed on a stretcher.
Mail employees also came to the scene and removed the packages in the damaged vehicle.
