Suspect charged in Montgomery Motor Speedway theft

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A suspect is now facing charges, according to court documents, after he allegedly broke onto the property of the Montgomery Motor Speedway on Booth Road.
According to court documents, 39-year-old Montgomery resident Jeffery Lane Ellisor, pulled down chain link fence that surrounds the Montgomery Motor Speedway's race track at some point between August 11th and 18th.
Once on the property, Ellisor is said to have stolen multiple aluminum bleachers and copper valued betweetn $500 and $2,500.
Ellisor was taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
