SELMA, AL (WSFA) - Selma police say no arrests have been made, but suspects are being interviewed in connection to a drive-by shooting that injured two people Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of Philpot Avenue after receiving a report of shots fired around 2:40 p.m.

Lt. Curtis Muhannad says two people were shot while on a porch in the area. An 18-year-old male was shot in the jaw, and a 15-year-old female was shot in the foot.

Police say there are reports of an ongoing conflict between the people at the residence and residents at GWC Housing Authority -- a housing complex in Selma.

Authorities say the shots were fired from the front and back seats on the passenger side of a white Ford Crown Victoria. The vehicle was later recovered in the 1600 block of Alabama Avenue.
