Conecuh County schools continue to fight back, from the damage Hurricane Ivan sent their way.
School Superintendent Ronnie Brogden tells WSFA 12 News, the roof is now on Castleberry Junior High School, and crews will start working on the Repton Junior High School roof in the next few days. They also had to truck port-a-potties to Castleberry because there just were not enough bathrooms, and bring gravel to Repton because of so much mud.
Brogden says the damage will total 700-thousand dollars. He does not expect students to get back in the two newly renovated schools until next fall.
