High school bands compete in Phenix Invitational Marching Festival

PHENIX CITY, AL - High school marching bands from around Alabama and Georgia competed over the weekend in the 34th annual Phenix Invitational Marching Festival, held at Garrett-Harrison Stadium in Phenix City.

Several bands from Central Alabama marched away with awards including: Alabama Christian Academy, Auburn High School, Chilton County High School, Prattville High School, Reeltown High School, Smiths Station High School and Tallassee High School

Class A - Reeltown High School
Class AA - Alabama Christian Academy
Class AAA - Shelby County High School
Class AAAA - Prattville High School

Best in class Battery Percussion awards:
Class A - Russell Co. High School
Class AA - Northside High School (Columbus)
Class AAA - Shelby Co. High School
Class AAAA - Smiths Station High School

Best in class Pit Percussion awards:
Class A - Jordan High School
Class AA - Harris County High School
Class AAA - Central High School (Clay Co.)
