Crews work to pull 18-wheeler from I-85 crash site in Macon Co.

SHORTER, AL (WSFA) - Alabama State Troopers say crews are working into the evening to clear wreckage of an 18-wheeler wreck that overturned and crashed along Interstate 85 Thursday morning.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. at the 23 mile marker, one exit past Shorter.
The 18-wheeler driver was taken to Baptist South Hospital in critical condition.
Currently one northbound lane between Shorter and Tallassee is closed as crews pull the tractor trailer from the scene.
