2 women charged with sex crimes in Covington County
Opp, AL (WSFA) - Opp police have arrested two women in an ongoing sex crimes investigation involving a minor.
According to a news release from the Opp Police Department, police opened an investigation after receiving reports that a woman had sexual contact with a minor under the age of 16 and that another woman had given drugs to a minor and also had sexual intercourse with a minor.
Kristina L. Burroughs, 30, of Opp, was arrested Monday and charged with rape second degree and sodomy second degree.
A second woman, Tiffany Ann Blair, 35, of Opp, was arrested Saturday and charged with four counts of chemical endangerment of a child, rape second degree and sodomy second degree. Blair is accused of providing illegal drugs to a child and using illegal drugs in front of a child. She's also accused of having sexual intercourse with a minor.
Burroughs and Blair were booked in the Covington County Jail. Blair's bond was set at $1.04 million. Burroughs' bond was set at $400,000.
