MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - A memorial fund has been established for a Montgomery woman who was fatally shot last week.

Family members say anyone wishing to donate funds to help with burial expenses can go to any Wells Fargo branch and mention the Jamie Lightsey Memorial Fund. Funeral arrangements haven't been finalized.

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating the death of 34-year-old Lightsey as a homicide.

MPD officers and fire medics responded to the 2700 block of Argyle Road around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on a call of a subject being shot. First responders found Lightsey in the driver's seat of a vehicle that had crashed. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A motive has not been determined, and police say there are no suspects in custody at this time.
