MPD: Robbery victim shoots, kills suspect at Montgomery apartments

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department has initiated a death investigation after they say a man was shot and killed while attempting to rob an individual on Friday.

Officers responded to the 500 block of Eastdale Road around 7:50 p.m in reference to a call of a subject shot. When police arrived, the subject had already been transported by a personal vehicle to a Montgomery hospital. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

After an initial investigation, police say three subjects, including the adult male who was shot, were attempting to rob an individual.

Police took 20-year-old Javoski Greene and 19-year-old Cordarius McQueen into custody in the 400 block of Taylor Road on Friday. They were both charged with one count of felony murder and transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility on a $75,000 bond each.

Police say the victim did not suffer any injuries.
