MPD conducting death investigation following stabbing

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Montgomery Police are investigating a death investigation after a stabbing turned fatal on Saturday, according to officials.
Lieutenant Denise Barnes says around 11 p.m. police responded to the 3100 block of McGhee road on a call of a person stabbed. An adult male, located at the scene, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. The name of the victim has not been released.
Investigators say at this time no one is in custody. This is an ongoing death investigation and no additional information has been released.
