Victims, suspects ID'd in deadly Thanksgiving morning Montgomery shooting

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department says multiple suspects are in custody following a shooting on Endicott Drive that left two people dead, and another person injured.
Police and fire medics responded to the 2700 block of Endicott Drive around 1 a.m. on a call of multiple people shot.
Anthony Packer, 34, sustained life-threatening injuries in the shooting and was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife, Sherika Packer, 24, was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
A third victim, whom police have not identified by name, received minor injuries.
Three suspects have been arrested and charged with one count each of capital murder. They include Kelly Varnado and Steven Varnado, both 24, and Donte Cooper, 26.
All three suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Detention Facility where they're being held without bond.
A motive has yet to be determined.
