We now know one of the teams that will take part in the second annual Raycom Media Camellia Bowl, set to be played at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.

Appalachian State, located in North Carolina, will represent the Sun Belt Conference in the game.

The team that will represent the Mid-American Conference won't be announced until Sunday.

The No. 2 ranked Appalachian St. Mountaineers football team has a 9-2 record with wins over Troy, Georgia State, Idaho, and 49-0 shutouts of both Old Dominion and Howard. The Mountaineers play South Alabama in Mobile on Saturday.

This is only the team's second year in the Sun Belt Conference and the first they've been eligible for post season play since they were an FCS team before joining.

Kick-off is set for 4:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Dec. 19.

The Raycom Media Camellia Bowl is one of 11 postseason bowl games owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN Regional Television (ERT) based in Charlotte, N.C., which owns and operates a large portfolio of collegiate sporting events worldwide.

Raycom Media is the parent company of this station.
