MPD initiates homicide investigation in shooting death of Montgomery man

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - The Montgomery Police Department has initiated a homicide investigation in the shooting death of a Montgomery man that occurred in October.

On Oct. 25, at about 6:05 p.m., MPD officers responded to the 4200 block of Strathmore Drive on a call of a subject shot.

Upon arrival, they located 63-year-old Moses Relfe, who had sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was initially ruled a death investigation by MPD, but is now being ruled a homicide following postmortem testing.

No arrest have been made at this time, according to MPD.
