Much of central Alabama under tornado watch until 8 p.m.

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Storm reports:

  • Lee Road 42 north of the Lee Road 44 intersection has become impassable and is temporarily closed until water in the roadway subsides. Motorists are advised to use caution in the following areas: 1) Lee Road 146 west of AL HWY 169 near the Lee County Lake. 2) Lee Road 207 in Smiths Station. Additional rainfall is expected through the night and road conditions could deteriorate rapidly especially in low-lying areas. 
    Drivers should reduce speed and be alert for changing conditions.
