2 charged after Montgomery robbery ends with man shot 6 times

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - Two suspects have been arrested after allegedly shooting a man six times Tuesday during a robbery attempt in Montgomery, court documents confirm.

Jordan McDaniel, 19, and Bakari Brown, 20, both of Montgomery, are charged with first degree assault and conspiracy to commit robbery.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was shot multiple times in the lower extremities, causing serious injuries.

Court documents indicate McDaniel and Brown, both armed, conspired to rob the victim. The alleged robbery happened around 3:40 p.m. at an apartment complex on Carmichael Road.

Bond has been set at $30,000 for both men.
