MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) - CrimeStoppers and Prattville police are searching for a suspect wanted for robbing a Papa Johns and then firing at a vehicle near the store this weekend.

According to CrimeStoppers, just before 8 p.m. Saturday a man walked into the Papa Johns on S. Memorial Drive and demanded money. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun and pointed it in the supervisor's face.

The supervisor gave the suspect money from the register, but the suspect became "extremely irritated" when the supervisor couldn't get money out of the safe. The man fled the store and was seen going towards the back parking lot.

The man was wearing a red hat, black shirt, jeans and sunglasses.

Minutes after the robbery, Prattville police responded to the 1000 block of Gipson Street where a man said he was traveling west bound in a Dodge truck with his 4-year-old daughter when they were shot at.

He told police he saw a man running away from Papa Johns and jump into a silver vehicle. The vehicle sped away from the store, and that's when the man heard a "loud ping" come from the front of his vehicle. He discovered his vehicle had been hit with a bullet.

The man and his daughter weren't injured.

Investigators are searching for a 2007-2010 silver Dodge Magnum in connection to this case. They previously thought the vehicle was possibly a Cadillac CTS.

If you can identify this suspect or vehicle, call police immediately or CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.
