ELMORE COUNTY, AL (WSFA) - In the 19th Judicial Circuit, incumbent Randall Houston will take on Casey Biggs for District Attorney.

Houston is hoping to win a third term as District Attorney, and says he's proud of the accomplishments of his office.

"I believe the job I have helps keep our community safe, and I just love doing it," Houston said. "I have been a prosecutor my entire legal career."

Biggs is no stranger to the DA's office as she served in district 19 as assistant DA a few years back, and wants to see some changes in that office.

"I feel like we need a district attorney that is more hands on; that will be in the court room in front of the jury arguing the cases advocating for our victims and leading by example," Biggs said.

The 19th circuit covers Autauga, Chilton and Elmore counties.
